Student Counseling Section
The goal of the NTUB Counseling Section is to provide quality counseling and psychological counseling services to our students, staffs and faculties. To enhance mental health, promote better self-development and cope with emotional, social, and interpersonal concerns.
We have cozy individual counseling rooms, a group activity room and a test room, combined as a friendly environment for persons to pursuit mental health and happiness in the NTUB community.
There are certificated psychiatrists, counseling psychologists and social workers to provide professional consultation, counseling and psychotherapy. Moreover, we provide plenty of movies on DVD, fiction/non-fiction books and journals for both self-education and entertainment.

- Speeches and workshops for academic advisement
- Gender equity education
- Mental health promotion activities and preventions, such as lectures, seminars, and guidance program for classes
- Volunteers training program
- Resource room for students with disabilities
Since 1997, the NTUB Counseling Section has been appointed as the leading team of “Guidance and Counseling Center of Technological and Vocational Colleges/Universities in Northern Taiwan” by Department of Student Affairs and Special Education, Ministry of Education. The main responsibilities include planning seminars on intercollegiate guidance and counseling knowledge and capacity for 40 Technological and Vocational Colleges/Universities in the northern part of Taiwan.
We work diligently to engage traditions of quality, inclusiveness and connectivity for the benefit of all.
